The Pizza Guy
So what makes him such an expert? The pizza guy is an expert in the field of pizza and other known disciplines due to his experiences both online and offline.
Aside from the obvious when a person browses this site on-line, in the summer of 1989 he worked between semesters of college he worked at a Pizza Hut and developed an extensive knowledge in the area of both preparation and serving of pizza. While he did not delivery pizza as a pizza delivery driver he did observe the drivers that worked there engaged in their craft and noted much about that occupation that helped to become an authority on pizza delivery as well.
In addition to his vast work experience he has consumed a lot of pizza including both homemade, delivery and even frozen. When he was 12 years old, while not fat he successfully ate 20 slices of pizza at a Pizza Inn buffet during a contest with his Italian-American friend, Paul Milenelli, after a basketball game. Although Paul Milenelli a chunky lad, tied him during the competition, the Pizza Guy never got sick while it is assumed Paul did. It was never confirmed his friend became sick however Paul Milenelli did not show up in class the next day and the following day when they were serving pizza during the school lunch, Paul refused to eat his. It is the Pizza Guy’s believe that experience stretched his stomach to such an extent that by the time he had entered his late teenage years he was able to down an entire large pan pizza from Pizza Hut with barely any effort.
It was in his early 20s that tragedy struck and he was diagnosed with IBS or Irritable Bowel Syndrome. This early diagnosis turned out to be merely the onset of an extreme case of ulcerative colitis. By his late 20s his case had become so severe that surgery was required to take out his large intestine and rebuild his small intestines to replace the missing large one. This entire time period were very dark days since he could not eat as much pizza and even though the doctors attributed this to an auto-immunity disorder, the Pizza Guy had a suspicion it was the result of eating too much cheap frozen pizza in high school and college.
Today the Pizza Guy’s favorite type of pizza is a pepperoni pizza with extra sauce, extra cheese and jalapeno, although in recent years he has had to cut back on his jalapeno and cheese intake. He also likes to sprinkle parmesan cheese and crushed red peppers on slices.
