Pittsburgh, PA – November 6, 2005 – Fox’s Pizza Den, a 100% franchised operation now spans the country with locations in 28 states.  September 12th, 2005 marked the grand opening of the first California store, located just south of Los Angeles.  Brian Morgan, owner of the Murrieta, CA Pizza Den remarks, “Things are going well out here.  We have been seeing a steady increase in sales.  As far as Fox's being a good fit for the Southern California area I would say yes.  I have been receiving very positive comments from people who normally rely upon Domino's or Papa Johns for their pizza orders.   Why we chose Fox's; there really is no single answer.   Our product as you know is very different from the typical pizza franchise. We were interested in something that was cash based business and that did not require a million dollars in liquid assets to get started.”

 

The Pittsburgh based company has been experiencing a tremendous growth rate over the past 2 years, last year reporting an 18% increase in units.  2005 reports show 249 units to date with 9 more scheduled to open before the end of the year.
