Ordering Pizza Online
Ordering your favorite pizza online is fast becoming the latest rage. Big chains that can support the infrastructure are now accepting online orders via their web sites and even smaller pizzarias and small franchises are getting in on this act through online companies oriented toward online order taking. Many of these sites will allow you to select the type of crust, toppings and any extras such as drinks, salads, desserts, etc.
After you create your pizza or select from specials displayed on the web site, most will allow you to submit your credit card information online for payment. This is a much safer method of credit card payment then giving some high school kid your credit card for processing when he delivers your pizza or even calling in your credit card information and giving it over the phone to someone you don’t know.
For those that want to pay by cash, the order online option is usually still available. You may have to wait for a confirmation call from the area store that will be delivering your pizza or some other sort of order confirmation method.
The only real downside to ordering a pizza online is that you will probably need to register with the pizza chain or service offering online ordering and delivery service. This of course means junk mail and coupons (which can be a good thing for the frequent pizza eater).
One thing that should be noted is that the online ordering is still new so not every nearest Pizza Hut, Dominoes or Papa Johns will be able to deliver to you if they are not prepared for online order taking.
